About ALCO Foundation: It's a distinguished and accredited non profit self help institution based in Argentina that offers support to obese clients. With 40 years of trajectory, is the biggest self help organization in Spanish spoken countries and one of the few of its kind to be recognized by the World Health Organization. At present it contains more than 600 groups in Argentina and other countries such as Paraguay , Uruguay , Israel , Spain and Canada .

About IAAN : Founded in 1993, IAAN (Argentinean Institute for Food and Nutrition) is a Non-Governmental Organization that aims to educate and spread knowledge about nutrition and healthy habits. It has launched several investigations and programs both for the private and public sector. For years it has been working in different campaigns and advocacy activities to encourage legislative bills related to obesity, nutrition and physical activity.

About Cuestión de Peso (“Matter of Weight”): It's a TV show dedicated to obesity treatment and prevention. In the context of a healthy competition, participants engage in an intensive therapeutic work with a multidisciplinary staff of specialists in obesity, who leads them through the weight loss process. It also features informative segments about obesity and its consequences.
